EXCISION
Indegenes who originally owned a parcel of land have right to cultivate the land for their livelihood and also build their houses.
For them to make use of the land government has to release part of it to them.
So the process of releasing the land is called EXCISION.
The implication of this is that government will no longer have control over the land hence it is no longer under government acquisition.
